Pitching. ..Complicated Simplicity

The complicated simplicity about pitching.

This Information is for all parents, coaches, and players. All pitchers are different. No two pitchers are exactly identical. I want you to do two things right now.  I want you to hold out your hands and look at your fingertips and then your fingerprints. Notice how some of them are similar, and some are completely different. No two are exactly alike. Yes that goes for everyone. Now I want you to sign your name in cursive five times in a column going down under each other. I want you to look at them and notice are they exactly the same, no difference anywhere at all? If you copied the signature and put them over themselves are they perfect? Are you just learning your signature, or have you been signing your name for over 15 years in cursive? Did you work on that signature till you were happy with it? Or did you accept it the way it was?

Chances are you worked on it a little. Another way I want you to think of it as being a mixture of possibilities. One you are born with, and one you create yourself. Pitching is no different. Some talent you are born with and what you become depends on how you work towards it. How long do you want to play baseball for? Do you know how good you can be at baseball? Do you challenge yourself to get better every day? What level are you at now? Are you being successful? Do you know why or why not? So many questions. Where are all the answers?

Well nobody has all the answers! NOBODY!! I am not here to say I have all the answers. But I definitely will give you a way to think about things. Give you something that could make you a better pitcher. A template and a plan to help you get  more out of yourself.

We now live in a world of instant gratification. Every one want to see instant results. Some kids will, and some kids won't. Pitching is a process. Its like steps. How often do you take the stairs? Escalators? Lets regress to something simpler and go from there. Before you learned to sprint, you had to learn how to run. Before you learned to run, you had to walk. Before you walked you stumbled around and hung onto things to help you. Before that you scooted.. etc.

Now think of it as levels of an organization. Honestly that is all baseball is. If you master the fundamentals for the level you are playing and keep succeeding you go to the next level.

What if you had a template that could help you become a better pitcher?  What if you had something to follow? A guide to help you find your maximum potential. It is a lot of work. It takes time. But you can make yourself better! The time to start is Now! TODAY!

Ask yourself. Am I as good as I can be? Can I get better? What should I be mastering as a pitcher?  The Answers vary depending on what age you are and how many years you have been pitching. No matter what your age is or how many years you have been pitching I will help you become a better pitcher! If you are playing fall baseball, or only play baseball and you're a pitcher, and want to get better I want to talk to you.  I want to sit down with you and form a plan to succeed and reach your goals for next year. Are you on the top 10 list for pitchers in your area? Do you want to be? If so let me know.

Introduction

Welcome

Welcome to my blog/website.  Thank you for taking the time to see what I have to offer to help you achieve your goals, and become better.

A winning formula is something every pitcher needs to have to be successful year after year: Continuous learning and targeted training to be the best.

I have come up with a formula that has helped me to be successful, and I believe will make you more successful as well.  I can work with you 1-on-1 or host group clinics.  I can help you with:

      Your mechanics
      Your arm slot
      Most effective pitches for you
Pickoff moves and how to defend against runners
      Help you develop a philosophy
How to attack a general line up 1-9
      Right  vs. Left handed hitters
Video with corrections and feedback for player and coach
Drills to help correct mechanical flaws

I can help you become stronger with a personal workout program made specifically for you.

Strength and conditioning
Year round pitching clinics, strength and conditioning.   It's time to make Yourself stronger.  Both mentally and physically!   I will be holding  pitching clinics to refine the basics of what all pitchers should know with mechanics to get the most out of your pitches, and take the stress off your arm.  What control really means. Quick pick off moves and when to use them.  Tempo and the speed of the game, and cover the mental side of pitching as well as line ups and situations. For more information please contact me by email and I shall get back to you by email or phone. Thank you

If you would like to receive personal clinics
or 1-on-1 training, please contact me by email so we can sit down and talk about what you want to improve on, what your goals are and we can specify a program specifically designed for you.

At Athletes In Motion, we do our best to provide our athletes' with up-to-date research on exercise and sports sciences. We do this so that our athletes have the proper tools and resources to develop and succeed.

A pitchers core and his legs are the most important part when pitching.  Along with proper mechanics can increase velocity, take stress off the arm, and make pitching easier.  If you would like to know what areas of your body are weak and could be creating trouble points in the pitching motion and could result in injury we have the ability to give you a personal plan that helps you achieve your goals, protect your arm, and body. If you would like to know more please contact us.

Coaches and Parents.  I can cater to your needs as well.  What would you like your kids to learn?  A philosophy, a plan, pickoffs, mechanics, fielding, defending the running game, Timing, or tempo. These are all packages we can put together to best fit your personal needs

If you would like to set up a personal pitching plan,  or a full package deal, please feel free to contact me so we can set up an free consultation and start getting you on track to take your game to another level.

Fall baseball is about to end. It’s time to get the players stronger, smarter, and ready to go by February.

How would you like to have your players ready to go by the time tryouts start? You won’t have to waste time teaching the fundamentals, philosophy, and worrying about if they are in shape and ready to throw. You won’t have to worry about injuries, making corrections, working on pitches.

Just coaching.

If this sounds like something that might interest you or for more information, let’s sit down and talk. I want to help you make your team the best is can be!

Thank you,
