Both apps can be found in the app store on your phone if you don't click the links.
They can also help pitchers record their bullpens, long toss, times out of the stretch, and much more. Meaning you can use them for more than just this challenge, and I suggest you do!
Video record yourself picking off to first base.
I suggest recording 4 or more pick offs at a time, and pick your quickest pick off!
Rules:
1. If you have the timing feature, the time starts at first movement no matter what it is.
(Side note) If you don't have the timing feature, don't worry, write down the time in seconds at bottom of the screen, and subtract from time the ball reaches the target.
2. The distance that we will use for the contest is 50 feet. Original distance from rubber to first (on a 60/90 field) is around 63 feet, but I want pitchers of all ages to be able to join in, and have fun doing so.
3. Fill out the contact form below, including name, age, state, time on pick, and your video link through coaches eye, or Hudl Technique.
4. Top 3 pick off times from Oregon, and the top 3 from out of state will be featured in a blog post, and times will be shown.
5. If there is no video you are not eligible. Sorry, but seeing is believing.
